Make the Conversion to Ingersoll Rand/ARO Ingersoll Rand’s line of pumps and industrial tools can help increase efficiency and productivity while decreasing long-term cost and production downtime for pulp and paper manufacturers. Ingersoll Rand/ ARO Pumps: A Unique Solution for Any Challenge Ingersoll Rand/ARO offers a broad range of pumps and accessories guaranteed to solve any fluid handling challenge. In order to select the proper pump for your application, it is important to have a better understanding of the two types of pumps offered by Ingersoll Rand/ ARO. Piston Pumps Ingersoll Rand/ARO piston pumps use a reciprocating piston to move fluids. The piston rises, during the upstroke, and pulls fluid into the pump. Fluid fills the pump cylinder, or “downtube”. During the downstroke, fluid is trapped within the pump. The piston displaces fluid and transfers it downstream. Fluid is controlled during both steps by checks. Ingersoll Rand/ARO piston pumps are characterized by high pump ratios, 1:1 up to 65:1. Higher ratio pumps produce higher fluid pressure. As a result of their high fluid pressure, Ingersoll Rand/ ARO piston pumps are capable of handling high viscosity fluids. Piston Pump Packages Most fluid handling applications require more than just a pump, but ordering extra equipment can take extra time and effort. ARO offers a series of packages that take the work out of the ordering process. These preassembled Two-Post Ram ink packages ship complete with all the components necessary for quick installation and operation. Diaphragm Pumps Ingersoll Rand/ARO diaphragm pumps use a flexible membrane to move fluids. In diaphragm pumps, fluid flow is controlled by four ball checks. Compressed air pushes against the diaphragm, which pushes the actuator pin, mechanically moving the “SimulShift TM” valve. This allows fluid to move throughout the pump. Ingersoll Rand/ARO’s unique “SimulShift TM” valve provides ultra-positive, reliable shift signal that avoids stall-out. As well as, faster trip-over with less pulsation and superior laminar material flow. Diaphragm pumps have a lower ratio, typically 1:1. The ratio of the diaphragm pump makes it most suitable for handling lower viscosity fluids. Ingersoll Rand Industrial Tools - Maintain a Competitive Edge! Ingersoll Rand’s industrial tools offer a myriad of applications for manual chain and lever hoists. From machine repair to placement and installation, the Ingersoll Rand product line offers among the lowest effort required to move capacity loads. Ingersoll Rand percussion tools are often commonly used for paper stripping. Maintenance can also use various size impacts that are applied for general maintenance and teardowns. Product line includes:
